Foodie Guidelines and Policies

We love hearing about your halal dining experiences, good and bad. However it’s important that your reviews, photos and comments comply with our Content Guidelines and Code of Conduct. We have one simple rule, keep it halal!
If your activity on Halaled doesn't match up to these content guidelines, we reserve the right to take action as we deem necessary. This could include altering or deleting your reviews or comments, or deleting your Halaled account altogether, with or without notice. Halaled also utilises an algorithm to aid in removing suspicious reviews. If you feel your review was deleted in error, email us at info[at]halaled.com
If you see content that does not align with these guidelines or our Terms of Service, please let us know. We will consider all reports. However, due to the diversity of our community, it is possible that content disagreeable to you might not meet the criteria to be removed.

Halaled Code of Conduct

It’s all very simple, just:

Keep it halal: Please refrain from using abusive, derogatory or threatening language. Constructive criticisms are most helpful to our readers, not personal attacks.

Keep it concise: As helpful as detailed reviews are, we like feedback like we like our baklava; short and sweet! Therefore keeping your feedback limited to food, service and ambience makes it most relevant.

Photo guidelines

Want to show the world how juicy your halal sirloin steak is? You can upload pictures of your meals onto our site and your personal social medias. That said, pictures must comply with halaled photo guidelines. Failure to do so may result in your picture being taken down.
Please ensure your pictures are clear, in focus and accurately depicts the meal you have received/consumed. Please use your own pictures and do not duplicate/plagiarise photos or promotional content you do not have permission to use.
