About Halaled

Halaled helps you find halal restaurants you can trust.

Halaled is an independent UK guide to halal dining. Every listing is checked by a person before it goes live — what's on the menu, whether alcohol is served, and most importantly, the basis of the halal claim itself.

We started Halaled because "halal" on a listing site too often means "someone once said so". We think you deserve to know who says a restaurant is halal — the certifier, the restaurant itself, or a directory — and when that was last checked.

How we work

• We gather restaurant details from certification bodies, halal directories and restaurants' own websites.
• Automated checks flag inconsistencies, but no listing is published without human review.
• We re-check listings regularly and mark each halal status with the date it was last reviewed.
• Restaurants don't pay to be listed. Featured placements are curated, never sold as verification.
